Let Go, Let God: Finding Peace through Surrender
Of course, everybody faces moments of stress or fear and doubts of life and when things aren't going by the plan, you get frustrated and try to just hang on tight to the outcome so that someway through grip, the thing turns out as planned. At times one must let things alone and see that some other force is doing his share of the work for him. This stronger guiding force happens well put in that old word: "let go, let God.".
Let go does not mean giving away but letting go of the control that we cannot but let things happen. In other words, letting go means submitting to that power and to understand within the unknown is peace knowing that all must be as it may be well to be. This is incredibly deep-set trust for itself. This is giving up troubles over our ability to keep.
The more we let go, it leaves space for other new blessings and opportunities that might enter our lives. Like the one who puts down the heavy load, after you free your self from the burden, it is easy to walk forward much.
To practice "Let Go, Let God":
Admit your fears. Write all the fears or concerns standing in your way. Normal, but do not control them. You can now write down all your fears, take a deep breath, and let go of one at a time.
Believe there's a plan for you, and sometimes things seem foggy because life's journey must unfold as it should, and very often the seeming obstacle is a guide to greater things.
Mindfulness and prayer. Mindfulness will keep you in the moment, so to speak, and more centered. Mix that with prayer or meditation, and you won't feel like you are in this thing all alone in your suffering. If you begin to worry, breathe in and out asking for strength and guidance.
It really is so hard to let go; that is how one gets to peace. The most important focus is letting go of the urge for every outcome. Work best with what you have right now. Everything else will be taken care of by the higher power.
Be Patient: Surrenders do not mean things would pop out right away. You only have to wait until it falls into its correct places.
Benefits of Quitting
Letting go and letting God do his thing opens you to the most wonderful inner peace. We now look at life through new eyes. We no longer take everything at face value. Now, we understand our standing in something so much greater than us. It is a kind of mind-set that empowers the mental and emotional well-being and brings down the level of stress to an extent where one can find purpose even during troublesome times.
It also fills the mind with gratitude. Once the heart begins to believe, small graces are found at each step, and heart feels content in its own life.
